Shimpo Instruments’ FGS-220VC 220 lb Capacity PC Control & Data Logging Motorized Force Test Stand is built to deliver precise, repeatable results for tension, compression, break and cycle performance tests.

The FGS-220VC is equipped with a Shimpo exclusive: a precision crafted servo gear head and ball screw for accurate movement control. The vast measurement area and large 15.75” (400 mm) travel distance enables the testing of unique, sizeable parts. Users can perform both slow tests and fast cycle load testing with the reliable 0.40-15.75”/min (10-400 mm/min) adjustable speed.

The easy to use keypad and intuitive on screen operation makes setup effortless. For the utmost in user flexibility, standard tests can be executed in various automatic or manually selected modes. Users can select higher-end abilities with the added dwell time, adjustable acceleration, and user-defined tests featuring up to 5 programmed set points.

The FGS-220VC allows for keypad operation or operation through a PC via the FGT-VC software. With data collection, graphing and statistical analysis, the software provides the graphing of force versus distance and the aptitude to evaluate a multitude of tests on one graph. A comparator mode is also offered with the software enabling the fast decision pass/fail identification, perfect for production line testing.

Able to be used with all Shimpo force gauges and most other gauges available, Shimpo Instruments’ FGS-220VC is the complete test stand for a myriad of applications.
