The first installment in their TNP series of digital torque meters, Shimpo Instruments’ TNP-0.5 is crafted with a 0.5 N-m (4.425 in-lb) capacity. The meter works as a cap torque analyzer by continually verifying bottle closure and breakaway torque.

Shimpo Instruments TNP-0.5 Container Test

The TNP-0.5 is equipped with features designed to maximize productivity and efficiency. The expansive memory is able to store 1,000 data points, including Average, Maximum and Minimum values, and the HI-GO-LO LED comparator feature confirms overall product quality when testing large batches.

Structurally, the TNP-0.5 is portable for quick and easy transfer from location to location and compact so that little space is taken up during operation. Supplied with a universal AC adapter, USB cable and 4 piece 30mm chuck pin, the TNP-0.5 Digital Torque Meter from Shimpo Instruments is the overall solution for the measurement of open and close torque values.
