DENT Instruments has introduced the CT-CON-1000-U 1000 Amp Standard Clamp-On Current Transformer as part of their CON-Series of CTs. Perfectly configured with a 1000 amp range and a 2” window, the CT-CON-1000-U has the capability to access tight places while still being able to clamp around large cables and wires with ease.
The clamp-on current transformer produces 333mV at full scale and a linear output voltage directly comparative to the input current. The CT-CON-1000-U is a leading CT for safety, with its shunted design and capacity to be installed over existing power lines.
Known for their versatility, DENT Instruments has made the CT-CON-1000-U compatible with both their ELITEpro and PowerScout series, in addition to any other meter accepting a 333mV output CT. Whether used for temporary or long-term studies, the CT-CON-1000-U 1000 Amp Standard Clamp-On Current Transformer exemplifies superior accuracy, high-sensitivity and low phase shift ideal for a variety of power measurement applications.
