The Vaisala CARBOCAP GMP252 is a smart probe that measures carbon dioxide (CO2) in a variety of applications such agriculture, refrigeration, greenhouses, plant growth chambers and demanding HVAC environments where stable and accurate ppm-level CO2 measurements are needed. The GMP252 can be combined with the DTR250 or DTR250A shield to measure CO2 outdoors. The GMP252 has a new type of infrared (IR) light source that is used instead of the traditional incandescent light bulb, extending the lifetime of the sensor. The GMP252 has a full-scale measurement range of 0 ... 10,0000 ppm CO2, but can be used at any range in between. The GMP252 operating temperature range is -40 ... +60 °C (-40 ... +140 °F) and the probe housing is classified as IP65.
