Shimpo Instruments’ TTC-I-2 1.48 ft-lb (2 N-m) Capacity Digital Torque Tool Tester is part of their new TTC series. The TTC-I-2 can rapidly confirm torque tool performance up to 1.48 ft-lb, always with superior accuracy.

The torque tool tester is equipped with six different operation modes: Track Mode for live readings, Peak Mode in which the highest level over a test is recorded, First Peak Mode where recording begins after a programmed decrease, Auto Peak Mode which resets after an elapse of time, Auto First Peak Mode where the first peak is reset after an elapse of time and Double Peak Mode which delivers two separate peak readings from programmed decreases. Even more, the Preset Operation has programmable tolerance thresholds for fast pass or fail tool tests.

The TTC-I-2 is designed with an analog bar graph on the backlit, reversible LCD which displays the resultant torque’s current position compared to the full scale range, in addition with the direction of the force. For user simplicity, results can be promptly confirmed with the live test feedback’s pass/fail icons.

All models in the TTC series are constructed with USB and RS-232 outputs for increased communication abilities while the unit’s internal rechargeable battery and supplied AC adapter deliver the utmost in power versatility.
