Shimpo Instrument’s DT-361 High Intensity LED Stroboscope is designed for measuring and analyzing velocity. The DT-361 produces the illusion of viewing slowed or frozen images by flashing its LED lights at a frequency that synchronizes to the operating machinery. The experience of slowing or stopping the motion by way of the LED lights’ adjusted flash rate allows processes and machine parts to be examined for defects, essential for preventative maintenance programs.
The capabilities and benefits of the DT-361 far exceed those of common xenon stroboscopes. The LED technology results in prolonged operation as the light diodes require less energy. Even still, the LUX or light output of the LED array is brighter and more intense than all comparable stroboscopes available. More still, the DT-361 requires no bulb replacement lessening the amount of down time and time spent on maintenance.
The DT-361 highlights a means of operation that is both efficient and user friendly. The keypad and rate adjustment dial simplify the process of making changes to the flash rate to correspond with changes in the speed of the user’s process. The dial enables detailed alterations of the flash rate while the x2/÷2 keys allow vast spanning over the full flash range.
In addition to the bright red LED display, the DT-361 comes equipped with a list of advanced features and functions. The phase shift function allows for equipment to be rotated where the user requires the focus to be changed to different blades, gears or sections of machinery. Ideal for printing processes, the DT-361 can also modify the flash duration or on time, facilitating in picture clarity. The stroboscope is able to be synchronized with an input signal and is crafted with a power output to supply an optional input sensor.
