The kit includes Reed’s R8050 Sound Level Meter, capable of dual range measurement, and fast and slow time weighting. Satisfying ANSI and IEC Type 2 standards, the meter is outfitted with features and functions for the utmost efficiency like the data/max hold functions and even includes a tripod mount for monitoring over an expanse of time.

The R8090 Sound Calibrator from Reed Instruments is also supplied in the R8050-KIT. The R8090, at a controlled frequency and amplitude, produces a steady acoustic signal for the verification of the sound level meter’s accuracy.
