The Kobold PMP differential pressure transmitting switch is designed to control and measure the low differential pressure of clean dry air or non-corrosive gases. The PMP is used for monitoring pressure across HEPA filters by measuring the pressure difference across the filter assembly. The need for servicing or replacing a filter can then be monitored by the increased differential pressure which trips a programmable relay. An additional relay produces an alarm if the differential pressure continues to rise. The PMS display the differential pressure on a four-digit red LED display. For remote transmission to a DCS or building automation system , a 4- 20 mA loop output signal is available. The PMP utilizes a micro processor to control and program Relays with time delay feature, hysteresis, and analog output. Power options are compatible with any available plant power; 24 VAC/DC, 120 VAC or 230 VAC.
