Most high accuracy PRT sensors max out at about 400°C, causing most higher temperature calibration jobs above that temperature to be a problem. The 5626 has a -200°C to 661°C temperature range and is nominally 100Ω at 0°C. The Fluke Calibration 5626 High Temperature PRT Temperature Standard is ideal for furnaces, dry block calibrators or temperature points above normal PRT temperatures.
The 5626 is the solution to high temperature platinum sensor contamination concerns. The construction of the 5626 relies on internal protection to reduce the hazards of exposing the platinum to contamination when using the PRT at temperatures greater than 500°C, without sacrificing the integrity of performance.
The temperature standard comes with an ISO 17025accredited calibration, complete with ITS-90 constants and a resistance-versus-temperature table, making Fluke Calibration’s 5626 both efficient and economical. Simply program your high precision readout to accept the sensors ITS-90 coefficients and you are ready to perform high accuracy, high temperature calibrations.
