The Extech CT70 is a handy instrument for quickly checking AC and GFI outlet wiring and load handling capabilities. The large LCD display turns red when a test fails, quickly alerting the technician to a problem. The CT70 tests useful parameters such as load voltage drop, frequency, line impedance, GFI Trip time among others. Outlet current load simulation is available at 12, 15 or 20 amps, truly allowing the technician to fully check wiring installations.
