Time Electronics Model 1070 Capacitance Decade Box sources 100 pF to 10 micro-F, 1% accuracy.
The 1070 is a convenient, portable decade capacitance box, housed in a robust metal case and designed for industrial, laboratory and education requirements.
The unit incorporates a colour coding system which divides the setting into three groups:
µF = Red
ηF = White
ρF = Yellow
ηF = White
ρF = Yellow
The high accuracy obtained in the 1070 is achieved by the use of accurate, stable capacitors. A thumbwheel switch provides precision selection of output capacitance.
Switch Contacts: A multiple gold contact switch arrangement ensures that should a contact fail, there is always a back-up contact available.
Safety Terminals: Fully compatible with 4mm shrouded plugs, as well as standard plugs, bare wires, and spade terminals.
Added Protection: The 1070 comes fitted with an ergonomic rubber boot providing increased protection and durability. The boot has a textured grip for comfortable handling and a raised edge so the 1070 angles slightly upward when resting horizontally. This improves visibility as well as gripping the surface, meaning no movement when thumbwheel switches are pressed.
