The Wika Mensor CPG2400 Digital Barometer is a low cost digital benchtop Barometer with a range of 8 to 17 psia (Custom ranges available, please call). The CPG2400 has an accuracy of 0.03%of reading and is an excellent replacement for Mercury manometers. Alternative ranges can be specified in a variety of units including inches of Mercury (inHg A), millibar (mbar) and kilo pascals (kPa). Built-in peak and null functions provide a convenient way to analyze barometric trends. Applications The CPG2400 Digital Barometer is used as a desk top or rack mounted barometric reference for weather stations, laboratories, clean rooms, nuclear power plants, pharmaceutical processing, health care equipment manufacturing and Calibration of medical radiation equipment. The CPG2400 Digital Barometer has a clear LCD display with an easy menu structure for easy navigation within the setup screens. A membrane key pad provides the technician the capability to navigate within these menus to set the digital display features such as peak, null, pressure units. It also allows access to a password protected calibration section for re-calibration of the internal sensor. The CPG2400 Digital Barometer can be operated from a remote computer via a RS-232 (Standard) or RS-485( Optional) serial port connection. The serial port can be used to configure, read or calibrate the sensor. This is useful when remote indication of the digital barometric pressure is required. RS-232 is used for communication over short distances and the RS-485 for longer distances and multi-drop applications.

(1) Accuracy is defined as the total measurement uncertainty, which is expressed with the coverage factor (k=2) and includes the following factors: the intrinsic performance of the instrument, the measurement uncertainty of the reference instrument, long-term stability, influence of ambient conditions, drift and temperature effects over the compensated range during a periodic zero point adjustment. |
