The KOBOLD PPS paddle-type flow switch offers extraordinary reliability at a competitive price and can be installed in pipes 1" and larger. Made of Polysulfone, these flow switches are virtually maintenance free. The pressure drop across the instrument is negligible and independent of pipe diameter. Flow switch status is clearly visible through the Polysulfone housing. The PPS flow switch is available with either a normally open, normally closed, or SPDT contact. Installation is easy. Simply insert the PPS paddle-type flow switch in a standard pipe or reducing tee and seal with PTFE tape. Allow for a straight pipe of at least 3 times the pipe diameter on either side of the tee to avoid turbulence.
