The DT-2100 Data Logging Contact/Non-Contact Tachometer is the most advanced tachometer Shimpo Instruments offers. The DT-2100 is equipped with only the most innovative and developed features and functions. Unlike other tachometers, the DT-2100 has the competence to calculate lengths remotely in non-contact laser operations.

The tachometer is essentially 2 instruments in 1 when used with the supplied 6” circumference contact adapter for linear rate measurement. The auto-detect function allows users to easily alter between non-contact and contact operation by promptly identifying whether or not a contact adapter is installed. Users can select either the 6” or 12” circumference wheel in the menu screen and the DT-2100 then automatically makes the correct calculations for the sensed speeds. The DT-2100 continues to cater to user flexibility by displaying results in standard numerical, bar graph, chart or gauge modes, while Max., Min. and Avg. can be rapidly scrolled through regardless of the display mode.

Data recording on the DT-2100 can be programmed for a single point or for uninterrupted logging. The on-board data logging, graphing and statistical analysis of the DT-2100 allows users to analyze testing results immediately onsite and subsequently resolve whether or not additional data is needed. Still more, data can be downloaded to the available optional software for even further assessment.
