Suited for the harsh environment applications, MadgeTech has introduced their PRTrans1000IS Intrinsically Safe Transient Pressure Data Logger. The PRTrans1000IS is Factory Mutual certified as intrinsically safe for Class I, Division 1, groups A, B, C and D and non-incendive for Class I, Division 2, groups A, B, C and D. In addition to its safety ratings, the stainless steel enclosure is specifically constructed for use in hostile, industrial environments.
The PRTrans1000IS records time and date stamped transient pressure event data at user-defined intervals and threshold triggers. The data logger can effortlessly be connected to gas, water, steam and hydraulic pressure lines by way of its 1/4 inch NPT fitting.
Users can record up to 255 events and obtain up to 262,143 pressure samples, ideal for high-speed erratic pressure data capture across an expanse of time. Available in Absolute (A) and Gauge (G) pressure ranges, MadgeTech’s PRTrans1000IS satisfies a variety of application requirements.
