The 3-wire HMS83 transmitter measures relative humidity and temperature in outdoor environments.
The HMS83 transmitter is optimized for outdoor use. It features an integrated solar radiation shield, which is a must for accurate humidity and temperature measurements in outdoor conditions. The transmitter is easy to install both on a pole and on the wall.
The excellent stability of the sensors and high quality materials ensure that the HMS83 transmitter requires minimal maintenance. If needed, the Vaisala INTERCAP® sensor can be easily exchanged in the field with practically no downtime.
HMS83 has a 0-10 V output.
Optional output parameters, dew point, wet bulb temperature or enthalpy selections can be easily changed with dip switches when the enclosure is open
Analog outputs are preset at the factory to:
- Channel 1: 0 ... 10 V = 0 ... 100% RH
- Channel 2: 0 ... 10 V = -40 ... +60 °C (-40 ... +140 °F) T
Measurement parameter(s) | Relative humidity Temperature Dew point temperature Enthalpy Wet bulb temperature |
