The 279 FC from Fluke is the fusion of a digital multimeter and thermal imaging into one dynamic test instrument. The 279 FC is equipped with all the benefits of a thermal multimeter. It has the ability to detect heating of insulators, fuses, splices, wires, connectors and switches. The 279FC also allows for hot spot inspection on high-voltage equipment and transformers from a safe working distance.
