BK Precision’s 9801 has the capacity of a programmable AC power source and a measurement tool all in one piece of equipment. The 9801 provides a maximum of 300 VA through the universal line output terminals on the front and the output connector on the rear. With a programming resolution of 0.1 V, the output can be varied from 0 to 300 V. The 9801 has a range of 45 Hz to 500 HZ in which the output frequency can be adjusted, and a start and stop phase angle from 0 to 360 degrees. Irms, Vrms, frequency, Ipeak, apparent power, power factor (PF), true power and elapsed output time can all be viewed on the expansive VFD display.
BK Precision has made the 9801 a solution for a wide variety of application requirements with functions and modes such as, list mode, power line disturbance (PLD) simulator, and the sweep mode for replication of conventional power grid disturbances and faults. A built-in dimmer mode is even available for testing LEDs and motors.
