Configured for 1000 Amp loads, DENT Instruments has designed their CT-SCL-1000-U Standard Large Split Core Current Transformer. The shunted current transformer provides linear output voltage directly proportional to the input current. The CT produces 333mV at full scale, and boasts a typical accuracy of ±1% (measured from 10% to 130%).

As part of DENT’s series of “large” CTs, the CT-SCL-1000-U has been constructed with a 2.0” window size. Even more, for efficiency and safety, the current transformer can be installed over already present electrical power lines.

The CT-SCL-1000-U is compatible with both the ELITEpro and PowerScout series from DENT Instruments.
