The Testo 816-1 sound level meter complies with all requirements with regard to the execution of non-conform noise level measurements according to IEC 61672-1 Class 2 and ANSI S1.4 Type 2, making it ideal for noise level measurements in the workplace, industry, public places and production.
The sound level meter comes constructed with all the features and benefits of the Testo 816, and has the addition of a built-in data logger with the capacity to save up to 31,000 readings and PC software.
Not only does the 816-1 come supplied with a carrying bag, but it is also equipped with a myriad of efficient features and functions. Users can change the measuring rate from slow (one measurement/second) to fast (one measurement/125 milliseconds). The meter allows for the selection between two frequency measurement types: characteristic curve A, which corresponds to the way the human ear perceives sound pressure, and characteristic curve C, which measures the low frequency percentage of the noise. An optional sound calibrator and screwdriver included in the scope of delivery allow for the recalibration of the 816-1 onsite. The backlit display allows for use in different environments and a USB cable makes it easy to hook the meter to a PC for effortless data transfer and analyzation.
